Hi!  I'm Rachel, the girl behind these design loving, blog thoughts.  Pure Lovely is my little creative space to share with you all the lovely things going on in life.  Mostly home projects and design inspired thoughts.

     I am a 1st grade teacher, wife to this handsome stud, and mom to a fur ball.  We currently rent while we decide where we want to put down roots.  My husband, Jamie, is the handyman behind most of the projects you'll find here.  I tell him an idea, and he makes it happen..usually ten times greater than the vision in my head!  He's the best... and we're no Chip and Joanna, but I'd say we make a pretty great team.

     My creative brain is always going. Always.  I certainly don't have the credentials to call myself an interior designer, so for now, we'll call it a design junky.  Some days it's so bad, I'm knocking down walls and drawing out floor plans in my head.  I just love it.   Design, planning, organizing, decorating, those are the things that make me happy.  My ideal of a perfect Saturday is spent antiquing or re-arranging a room in our home.

 I started this blog in hopes of one day helping others to create spaces in their homes that are welcoming and cozy, yet unique.  I am obviously no expert, and have so much to learn.  But that's why I am here.  I'm blogging my way through figuring it all out, in hopes that you'll follow along with me.
